Frequency of sessions

Sessions can vary in frequency from 2x/week to 1x/month, and together we will decide how often would be best for you.

When we first begin our work together, I recommend one session per week. Weekly sessions allow us to gain momentum on what is going on in your life and to make progress. Then as things improve, I recommend moving to one session every-other week.

For clients who are very disciplined, we can start with every-other week sessions; however this will require a lot of work on your part between sessions in the form of homework, introspection, and self-awareness.

Pricing

Each individual session will be 45-50 minutes long, and will cost $200 per session.

For couples and families, I recommend 80 minute sessions, which are $300 per session. This extra time allows for each individual to share their experience and feelings without feeling rushed, and have time to make forward progress.

I require you to keep a debit or credit card on file to pay for each session, and your card will always be charged the day of session.

I understand things happen in life, however I require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of sessions, or you will be charged for the full session cost. This allows time for other clients who want to be seen to book this time.

I do not accept insurance, however I can provide you with a general summary of services called a Superbill for you to provide to your insurance company. Many insurance companies will reimburse a portion, or all of your therapy service costs, however you should contact your insurance company prior to beginning therapy to confirm ahead of time.

According to the No Surprise Act that took effect on January 1, 2022, you are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate. It outlines services and includes the cost per session as shown above, and total cost of therapy sessions over 12 months. I will provide one at the time of scheduling, and you can request one at any time.
