"Life remains the same until the pain of remaining the same becomes greater than the pain of change."
- Author: Anais Nin
Change is hard and can leave you feeling stuck or overwhelmed with how to make the changes you want. The self-exploration that occurs in therapy can assist you with finding a direction and clarifying not only the changes you want, but also how you can go about reaching your goals.
I believe that therapy is different for everyone and there is no "cookie-cutter" approach. With that being said, my main goal is to have the therapy process fit your specific needs as a unique individual. Whether that means helping you develop additional tools/skills to help you be successful with life changes, or if you need someone to sit with you without judgment and share in your process until you have moved past a difficult time. Life can be hard and situations can leave you feeling sad, angry, defeated, hopeless, overwhelmed, anxious, or lonely to such an extent that you do not know how to move past it. Therapy can help you process feelings until they are resolved, or assist you with learning new ways to manage those feelings in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I look forward to building a genuine relationship with you as your therapist and helping you overcome what has brought you in! Please see my "about me" page to learn more about me and the experience I have.
